Went to see Don Mc Clean last night in Vicar Street,he was brilliant, sang all of his famous songs and some Buddy Holly,Roy Orbison and a couple of Elvis's. He came on at 9pm and was still playing after 11,really good entertainment. He mentioned that this gig was part of a world tour and that he'll be visiting Australia. I'd recommend to Bugrock and Spud to try and get to see him. Going in last night I expected he'd be playing on his own with maybe a pianoman in the background but he had 3 brilliant guitarist,a pianoman and a drummer, they were class. I kept thinking of Grammer and how he would have appreciated these top class musicians. There was a great rapport between Don and the band a sure sign that they were a real team.

What's happening with Ticketmaster? I've heard many complaints about them over the years.

I have a ticket for Elton this time next year. Hope he's still alive for it. :D

It's all happening this year though. Queen a few months ago, Roger Waters the other night, Queen again in Marley Pk with the Rats + others, then Bruno Mars and........BRITNEY with mah Bitches!!!! Hahaha.

Nice one Dancer .... George Bensons version of La Mer was one of my favourite 5 to 2'ers

As was this .... until I had the misfortune to see this video  blowing bubble gum ? and as for the hand action, I so so glad the dice fell out !

and if that was not bad enough ......

Great songs but as for the videos ..... oh dear

I'm looking forward to seeing Rodney Crowell this Sunday at the Seamus Ennis centre in Naul .... small venue with about 100 max capacity, a rare treat and one that our old friend Grammer would have loved.

This is one of his latest songs ... an absolute gem

and heres one of my favourites from years ago ...
