Lovely rendition of "black is the colour" awwave
I used to love Christy Moore singing that years ago - his voice lends a
lovely soft tone to the tune. I don't think anyone can beat him IMHO dontknow

Love the Christmas tune , change the last line of the
chorus to "hope your Christmas is as good as mine"
Do you need any backing dancers   I have a nice little Elf number

xx Dancer xx

I sent Dancer a pm on Friday and asked her for a Christmas poem I was looking for a new Christmas song
here are the results
Dancer we're going places. wuu wuu wuu
Christmas time rolls by again
Festive fun and cheer
Time to stuff the turkey's hole
Is it the front one or the rear?

We'll boil up the Christmas pudding
It's been hanging out in the the shed
and aunty Nellie is baking the cake
It's like ateing a lump of lead

We'll boil the ham and when it's done
We'll cut off the fat you see
then glaze it with honey and mustard
Ah, that's the tastiest bit for me!

We'll trim the tree, turn on the fairy lights
and then we'll all sit back
A pint of the black stuff in our hand
Now it's time to have the craic

We'll invite in all the neighbours
and raise the roof with song
Reminisce about the old days
sure t'will last the whole night long

And when it's nearly over
we'll raise a toast to Auld Lang Syne
and promise to do it all again
In another twelve months time

Here's something I recorded a couple of weeks ago for a Traditional music fest on one of the music sites I'm on.
you can change the name of the song to fit where ever you live ;) ;) ;)
it's an old traditional song called Buffalo girls

Ah Dancer :P sure that'd be telling ya :P The romantic Moon shining it's path across Scotsman's and you to be skipping along the Pier with your love in hand and timing your snogging between the sweeps of the Lighthouse light, the girls always turned away from the Light in case they'd be "seen" and the bonus to find one of the shelters unoccupied   The truth was,it was usually f*****g freezing and the poor girl would be shivering uncontrollably   but, happy days
