Shout out for a local business. Got a voucher for Christmas for Daniellas hairdressers in Patrick Street and went on Friday and was delighted with the cut.

Nice to see one or two locals in the queue and of course there was a great chat while we were being beautified.

Run by a girl from Romania with very good prices for the average Josephine and Joe.

Ah BUT .... it was all a mistake .... human error dontknow WHAT A LOD OF SH*TE ! business as usual and no one is sacked, disgraceful.

As for staffs anxiety / depression / stress ...... it seems some genius has worked out that this only applies to the under 50s as those over 50 are tougher and stronger having been raised in the 'bad' old days (!). Personally speaking, this is not surprising as the over 50s probably all left school and went to work at 18 or earlier. Today the great Irish Education system is set up to ensure nobody fails and gullible students are kept in the system for as long as possible.... we are producing far too many degree laden 'experts' in their late twenties who have NEVER worked a day in their life and have no concept of same.

Incidentally . . . . .

What on earth inspired anyone to re-name a state agency, there to provide child protection, as "Tusla".
And how much did it cost me?

Dear Taxpayer,

This was an agreed strategic move on behalf of our customers and stakeholders to allow us develop in a way that is directionally correct and deliverable.

The process was mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive, carried out with blue sky thinking. It had a scope that enabled us produce an unexampled brand and provides futureproofing as we move forward.

Many thanks for your enquiry.

Ah Toss, you have the order of those degrees wrong, the least of them comes first! I do agree with you
about all the useless qualifications and not a bit of 'cop on'

Just read that article from the Irish Examiner it certainly is shocking. I am not in Ireland at the moment.
I worked with Peter Charlton on a number of hearings, he was the Chair, he is very impressive and
he cuts to the chase at all times. No bull where he is concerned. In saying this he was still a barrister
at the time I worked with him.
It just seems to get worse and worse. You would think that whoever created these false accusations would
have removed them when the sh.. first started hitting the fan.
God help McCabe and his family they have been through a lot over the past few years.

The Irish Olympic Council have paid out over 900'000€ on an enquiry into the Olympics ticket fiddle -and the payout is not finished yet.

No country for the poor and downtrodden.....

Her loftiness Mary Robinson says she's sorry she left her handy number early as President of the Irish sheeple-it was Kofi Amin made her take up the big job with the UN.
Gets weirder every day.

Rio cost the OCI so much that they had to downgrade the venue for last nights meeting to the 5-Star Conrad.
(I couldn't in all conscience post this in sport)

Its Yes Minister live every day in Leinster House

But still they get away with it, so fair play to our politicians - they know how to play the sheeple and line their own pockets with an extra €5k despite their failings. No point in blaming them, when we the Irish people elect them time after time.

Overheard some guy talking on the news about "Diversity"

Well they can stick it.

I think we need "Inclusiveness" our Inclusiveness not their version.
Let them, in all their shapes, beliefs gender fluidity etc.fall into line with us
Or go somewhere else
We have enough problems to keep us going thank you.

According to that Tusla (or Tulsa -what ever their name is)
they reckon most of the 40 children coming here from France??? are not minors at all,
there sole ambition coming to Ireland will be to skip and head for England where most of their relatives are already.
It's gonna cost 8 million a year to keep these Children???? in a hotel.
Tusla say they do not have enough social workers to cater for them and will have to take social workers from other cases.
