this is a 1/2 oz of alluvial gold got from Reidy Creek at Eldorado in Victorian high plains :D ImageImage

I reckon our Spud is a bit of a "Golden Wonder!" :D Geddit?? Looks like a real goldminer in that pic. :cool: Great pics Spud, hope that half ounce is worth a few quid, maybe even worth its weight in gold! :cool:

Now this is gettin better by the day, first of all he has us all feelin sorry for him cos he only has a half ounce (probably worth a fortune :D ) and then, with a bit of coaxing its up to an ounce and a half!!!!!! :roll: Come on Spud, you can tell us......how much did ya find??? Snowy we dig in the same creeks and rivers but not in the same places and we are always hoping for big floods to shift more gold back to the old spots !!
In Victoria you need a miners right to dig on crown land but where ive been lately in NSW you dont :D

Spud. If the rivers bring the Gold down, from the mountains somewhere I assume, why not go to the source and look for the original veins? Just wondering.
