A Mr. Lawlor, father of Pat (electrician) and Fran (seaman) from Tivoli Terrace East, the big houses, was a barman in Walters for years, in the 50's/60's

a great pub back in the late 80's and early 90's.leo kelly and auto dafe , franki laine, trevor knight and lots of other local bands played there.

Leo is still bashing them out. Walters, Leeson Street, Goggins...
I used to go "religiously" every Sunday to the Mississipi Rooms in Bray to see AutoDaFe in the late 70's.
My mate is playing some stuff with Trevor Knight recently. (He dosen't like me cause I told him he looks like Brian Eno) True though. :D

Staying on topic with this photo believe it or not, the little guy to the right and in front sold papers outside Walters all my time out there. His name is Peader Kenny and I believe he is dead now RIP.

I remember Peadar Kenny - we'd see him all the time when we'd be shopping in Dun Laoghaire. Very well known around the place wasn't he. RIP.
