Bloomin Brilliant, absolutely stunning that one of the Snow in Killiney, do you sell them Trev ?

You even made that awful Blue eyesore of a building on Kill Ave look great. ;)

Great pictures TrevM. All pictures show places which were all part of my growing up. How come we never defaced stonework or other people's property when we were kids?

Keep the pics coming.

SInead - The kids these days huh ...no respect ;) what can ya do ? I have noticed that the whole "tagging" thing is getting wayy out of control around the area...whatever about the more visual element of whats on the walls along the dart line the indescriminate "Paddy woz ere" scrawled beside the Apple Green shop or whatever wrecks my head.

Strum - Yeah for as long as Ive been goin down the pier that chap has been playing...must have hands of leather , even on the coldest evenings in jan/feb he's be down there knockin out Rare Aul Times, made of hardier stuff than me anyway :?

Appreicate all the kind comments as I said

If anyone has any suggestions of cool places or things to shoot give me a shout , Im always on the look out for interesting things/people etc...looking to FOWC when it comes up.

Ive been meaning to check Walters out actaully, I havent been to too many of the watering holes to be honest. Im usually confined to McCormacs....

Not a big fan of the 40ft , its a bit fancy dan for me ;) , Goggins is alright bit devoid of atmosphere a lot of the time though, I asked for the soccer one time and yer man lookied at me as if Id relieved myself all over the bar or somethin? WTF  ?

Im gonna do a pub crawl soon now that I think about it

I think only on eof the photos above I actually used Photoshop, the rest Ive used Light Room 2 , Digital Photo Pro (free with Canon DSLR) d for the HDR stuff Ive used Photomatix http://www.hdrsoft.com/download.html

Id highly recommend LR2 for basic work , very user friendly and a bit more versatile than Digital Photo Pro.... using the photmatix thing is straight forward enough you just need a bit of practive to get the right level of exposures into the thing for it to work well.
