Grammer,

Can I buy one as I am being tempted to move home after 41 'blian', having come to the conclusion that I could never move back again... Now almost retired, can I, can I, ......

A LOT OF EXPATS LIKE MYSELF CAN SEE A POSSIBLE FUTURE THERE NOW WITH PRICES BECOMING SENSIBLE !!!
And I am a former NOGGINER !!!
What happened to the Gulag type flats along the road, sold to the Congo, no doubt ..... and IS KAPP & PETERSONS still in Business, Hayla's brother worked there for years and indeed may still if it is open <<<<

Hahahah!

Great shots Grammer. Good update.

I see they pulled the top end of the top shops down and are rebuilding. I think that's odd because that block was such a feature, the curve, a great piece of architecture on a Slope.

Would that Block not be protected?

Must go check out the town hall and see if they posted up the proposal.

Can't believe you got a clear bus window or you're doing well with the hang-gliding!

Front seat up the top...was it like being a kid again?

no jordo -
the main road from the bottom shops up along towards the church and past the old tech is pearse street-
the new apts seem to be numbered from 1 up pearse street (they are on the main road as such) :D :D
a little confusing  :D
dont think I shudda tried to expalin that
anyway a picture speaks louder than words ;-)

Thanks grammer, that's fine. It is very confusing because the sign is on Pearse Park and at first I thought I had made mistake when I turned into it.
