As part of the summer of heritage ST patricks, Church of Ireland bulloch harbour was open for the public view on Sunday ,I have passed this church so many times and always was curious to see what it looked like inside so here was my chance and in I went,my timing was perfect one of the parishioners had just started a short informal tour of the church he told how the foundation stone was laid in 1840 and the church built 1843 its a fine building theres lots to learn the parish was part of monkstown , some ofthe accounts for 1902 can be viewed ,war memorial to thoses who fell in the great war, one lady was a nurse returning to the front and was killed on the leinster ,leslie avenue named after a very generous parishioner I enjoyed my visit its well worth poping in if you like local history and your made most welcome. summer heritage ends 2nd Sept (I know summer never started)

Was there too.
Views from the site must have been spectacular before Trees took off.
Managed to get a glimpse over the wall at one of the two quarrys in the neighbourhood.
