Nice ones Snowy. i was down there, up at the carnival in Bray, the following week up in Bray at the airshow and got little or no fotos worth posting. I accidentally knocked my camera off a door and was getting blurred shots. Thought I,d damaged it till I sat down and actually looked at it. Turns out I had inadvertantly hit a little button that knocked it from automatic focus to manual. Its right as rain now but missed a nice few at the airshow. Ah well, theres always next year....hopefully! :-|

Sandycove

Postby Chiropodist » Tue Dec 02, 2008 11:44 pm

Whenever I was asked where in Ireland I came from I always said, Sandycove. To me it sounded better than Glasthule. I with the lads, had many a dip there but it had its share of perverts one in particular, a defrocked priest who preyed on the younger kids.

Just noticed this photo Strum, it's brilliant. :D

Yeah Chiropodist, not too many admit they are from Glasthule for some reason. grammers wife is from down there and I had to torture that information out of him :D :D :D

Even on the dullest of days Sandycove still has an inviting look about it.

Image

I was going to post this photo and see would anyone recognise it as it is an unusual shot of something that would be familiar to most of us, well the fellas anyway as it is the urinal in the 40 Foot MENS bathing place.

Image

And the reason I took the photo is to show that this country is surely going down the toilet because this little convenience has been closed by order of the HSE
