I've got a receipt from the Free State Government for 20 pounds(Bloody keyboard has no icon for pounds) in the name of Laurence Crawley 1920 of 28 Coldwell St. He must have moved to 8 Eden Terrace at some time unknown to me. But that means my da was born in Coldwell St (1917 I believe).
I too have discovered my family bred like rabbits. Again great work.

Bugrock, my copy of the Harold boys school register has two Crawleys==

Holla, you're a gem!
You got exactly the right people. I didn't expect Eugene, nor did I know his age. Their brother Danny/Denny was younger. He lived in Findlater St 50's till his early passing at age 33 I think. Sisters Elsie, and Lou who lived in the Noggin I don't know. Lou married Jack Kelly I think. After that I lost track again.
I can now really begin to put the story together. Thanks ;) ;) ;)

Bugrock,

Just had a quick look at my favourite site http://www.familysearch.org. Here is one result for births

Thanks Rocker,
I did have that site, but not the start you gave me. All it takes is a memory jolt to trigger names I'd forgotten.
Don't you sleep at all?
