Now, I'm also getting anxious to know. The Do you want Windows 10 screen keeps coming up every few minutes and I keep rejecting it but it might just download on me.
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

The stupid thing failed to download . The bar only moved about one fifth of the way along the
box thingy and stayed there for several hours. My laptop was getting too hot so I wasn't
going to risk leaving it running all night .

Now I have to go and look up why it failed to download BangHead BangHead

Anybody else had any difficulties with downloading and installation ???

Thanks Zirco and Jabra hellllo
I've checked everything and I have the enough space for the upgrade.
It just installed a load of updates and shut down and then started up again
so I have started the Windows 10 download again and it is currently at 14%
and climbing so fingers crossed it works this time .

Enjoy your break away tomorrow Jabra- safe journey !

Thanks Skins hellllo It took about four hours to complete and set up.

It might be different depending on the OS that you have dontknow
I was running Win7 64 bit Ultimate and it upgraded to Win 10 Pro
Does everyone get the same upgrade ????

Only one glitch; the Synaptics touchpad driver didn't update so I can't scroll using the
touchpad. I have to use a mouse. I'll have to look for the driver myself and install it.

So far, I am happy with the new look and it's quite easy to find my way around - for the moment anyway

Grammer, how are you finding windows 10? I haven't used my laptop for a few months and today I have spent several hours trying
to tweak it and make it load faster. Its a pain in the hole waiting on it to open up . Also, do you use any other anti virus program
besides Windows Defender (built in) ? My Norton Security has expired and I'm not renewing it as I mostly use an imac or ipad but the laptop
is easier for me at the moment.

Hi Dancer -welcome back--
Yep I have to say I like Win 10-
Faster start up-
It's kinda like Win7 & with additions
However now Groove music is trying to take over as my default player -so no way.
It's supposed to be hard to get rid of it---

Overall Dancer I'm happy with Win 10-- now I use a PC by the way.

Download VLC and make it the default. It allows playing of all media and recording of portions of videos and songs from longer files. Also allows slow motion and snapshots. Great for playing films too. I've been using it for 10 years or more. hellllo hellllo
