I offered up my Debit Card in a shop the other day and the lady at the till asked me if Id like to use the "touch & go" facility rather than just assuming Id want to. I told her no and we did the buisiness in the traditional way.

Nobody must check anything lately. My local Applegreen takes a Visa credit card and your man says "do you want a receipt"? I said no and waited for the credit card receipt...he looked blankly at me "you said you didn't want a receipt"! I said no I don't want a till receipt but I want my credit card receipt....You are the only one who looks for that he growled....What back up would I have if my bill was incorrect???...No one checks he says....Ha more money than sense I said....

I did it and it has worked out fine BUT you have to really go through the initial set up very carefully or Mr Microsoft will be rooting through all your information at every opportunity.

Is there a cut off point for when you have to download Win10???
I want to hang on to my old laptop but I was afraid to upgrade the OS because of all the
bad press it got . How do you find it Toss ?? At the moment I have Windows 7 64 bit ultimate .
Should I go ahead and upgrade ? If your answer is yes, can you pm me some info on what to
look out for during installation please?
It's not really the end of the world if something goes wrong but I'd prefer if it didn't babbby

I kept ignoring the notices asking if I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 so it just went ahead and upgraded all on its own.
I was on Windows 8 and was quite happy with that but now I'm on 10. Its much the same a few little variations but nothing major.

Does anyone have any experience of using MS OFFICE 365 Personal?
I'm currently using MS OFFICE 2003 and want to update to either MS OFFICE 2016 or 365 Personal.
I mainly use Excel and Word but am interested in Publisher.
What's putting me off MS OFFICE 2016 (HOME and STUDENT) is it is non-transferable, for the lifetime of the p.c.
When the p.c. dies, I can't transfer it to the new p.c.
Any info appreciated.

It took about an hour and a half to download on to my laptop but I'm told it took a lot longer for windows 10 to load for other people.
