I love music 8-)

BUT
I hate Rap! ---- should be banned between the hours of 12am to 12 am
I hate jazz ---- coz I do !
I hate any thing by Barry White ---- I like my singers to have more than one note
I hate people who cover classics and think by changing. A couple of notes here and there that they have just invented the wheel !
I hate professional singers who are soooo way past their use by date ! And the people who tell them their singing it like they did back in the 60's aawhip

Spud,
your statement that you hate Jazz is very sweeping. What type
of Jazz do you hate?
New Orleans Jazz just cannot be beaten, Rock n Roll grew from
it.

I hate: lone pipers.
People who sing off key
People who only know the first line
Rap
A lot of things already mentioned.

Just remembers another

Cleo Laine - she that is the jazz singer. Far too pretentious and self-centred.

Having sung along merrily the other night , an edit to my choices is required.

Meatloaf ..............still hate him!

Stairway to Heaven.............I sang along happily

Wonderful tonight ............. Yep !.........sang that one too !!!

Danced to Westlife's version of I have a dream

Even danced and sang along to Take That "a million love songs"

So I guess I really DO love everything ...except Meatloaf ...BLEH!!!

I'm afraid to mention that I thought the wee Daniel was very acceptable on "For one night only with Gay Byrne"he takes me by surprise...as long as I don't have to watch him trying to dance. I went through an Irish country music phase and had some mad years dancing in some gas places....but the bould Joe Dolan was my favourite....
Still like Meatloaf....... ;)
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

There is something comforting and special in playing vinyl. A warm fuzzy feeling enshrouds me. Every time I sell one, it feels like a child leaving for Australia.
My jocks just ain't big enough for a boxed set 12" Elvis lp's. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
