Sallynoggin College of Further Education presents an evening of energetic music and dance from the Dance students 2014. Blending the beauty and strength of Classical Ballet with the artistic and often thought provoking Contemporary dance style. Along with some up tempo dynamic Jazz moves and some legendery Musical Theatre. Open to all ages it promises to be a fun and entertaining show all round.

English. In our day the only people who were students were
those attending Trinity or UCD all the rest were pupils.

Never knew that!..I have a very basic use of English and would say I went to school at Carysfort rather than I was a pupil at Carysfort and ...I did a night course in the tech rather than I was a student at the Vocational Institute or whatever. I studied at school

but there were no colleges in Sallynoggin
That building that is now known as
Sallynoggin college of further education
or Sallynoggin senior college or any other
name they like to put on it was simply
called Sallynoggin technical institute
or the Noggin Tech.

OK I was an adult student -and let me add -some of the most enjoyable years of my life
made great friends -
and -and most importantly -passed my Leaving Cert.---Honours (or Honors )in English and History

Oh Grammer...I love that saying "not dealing with muck"...it has been so long since I heard it. With all the Celtic Tiger and wannabees, everyone thought they were soooooo important...... we Boro gang always knew we were....didn't our mammies tell us every day "you're not dealing with muck"...

Great stuff Grammer...I don't know how you did it. I tried to go to Belfield at night but, after 30 years away from school just couldn't get my head around it...let's say I didn't find my niche
