When did Easter Monday fall on a Saturday?

An old riddle.... don't know if it was true, but the answer always given was that Easter Monday was the name of a horse which fell in the Grand National.

Gulliver,

I heard that one just the other day on some radio sports show. Good one. Have to admit I am hopeless at Quiz games. My friends throw things at me at the table on a pub quiz night. I also have to have the punch lines of jokes EXPLAINED BY VERY FRUSTRATED FRIENDS!!!
Well Easter was good, plenty of chit chat and lots of goodies.
When is the next break for those poor people who are working? :?: :!:

Two eggs still here, out of a somewhat larger number
Neither of us are supposed to eat chocolate, but eggs seem to disappear from time to time.
Is it the wee folk?
Is is a mouse?
Is it the Great Easter Egg Monster?
Need to take the camera out of my nest box and use it for surveillance!!

Good Friday has loomed, cold enough here but dry and bright. The kids next door have been off school all week and it is screaming and shouting from 06.00hrs each day BangHead . Boarding school would be a great place for neighbours kids!!! The Rockers are going to tackle some Ikea stuff that was bought in a blaze of enthusiasm early last year! Then we will visit friends, eat loads of goodies and watch our Easter Millionaire ticket win the draw on Monday wuu

Have a great Easter everyone

Happy Easter all, I am off to Galway City for the weekend, I am bringing the camera with me in case I see anything interesting. Hope the weather stays dry, now try not to eat too much chocolate over the next few days. :D

Have just been to a childrens Stations of the Cross, very moving. No clergy
involved, just children a few parents and maybe a teacher or two. The children
enacted it all very well and made it meaningful for the other children present.

Happy Easter to one and all.

That one about Good Friday falling on Easter Monday was one my father whose to tease with me with.
He kept it going for a couple of years untill he felt so sorry for his thick son and eventually told me.

ENJOY THE EASTER AND HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO ENJOY IT WITH

Wish I had them growing in my garden!! You'll never believe it but, I was in Tescos about 12.00noon today and there was a line of fellas asking where the Easter eggs were...there was only one of two tiny €3 left and they were muttering!!! Don't they know that since Christmas the God damn shop has been selling the blooming yokes(no pun intended)... I have had to eat at least 20 over the weeks to clear the shelves...my civic duty.
