Jemser,

More great photos. Love the colourful clothes. Look at that magnificient girl dying the wool - eyes are the gateway to the soul. Wow she has some kind heart and soul. Jem, you have captured the essence of the place. Love it.

Totally agree with the comments Jemser

Wanted to ask you about it the other night.

PS would you have the phone no. for the model in one of the last photos? ;) ;)

Some photos from the village of Ollantaytambo in the sacred valley. This is where the Incas had a rare victory over the Spanish invaders.

Inca fortress overlooking Ollantaytambo. You can begin to see the type of stonework here that the Inca Empire is famous for producing.

Jemser,

Quite apart from the exotic subject matter, I'm greatly impressed with how well you've exposed all these shots - they look terrific - superb definition (two or three legs?) and great tonal range.

Jemser, I have being following your adventure from the start, I am really impressed by it all, the photos and the descriptions are first class. This is what is so good about our site, the amount of information on all subjects is staggering, I would like to think we as a group are building up a huge legacy of history for those that follow us. Thanks for all the kind comments, Spudseamus they say the Spaniards never found it. However some people believe they did find it but weren't interested because there was no gold, jewels or treasures there. The Incas eventually fled to the jungle at Vilcabamba, but the Spaniards found them and the rest is history. Just some more pics from Macchu Picchu.
