Pet hate:- newsreaders saying 'guns were recovered'
incorrect, they were not lost, they were found and
thereby 'seized'.

I heard two gals speaking on the DORT yesterday...you know that Mid Atlantic pseudo American accent. After each sentence one would keep saying period.....grammer's comment about full stop and comma made me remember this daft girl period.......as they don't use commas nowadays , she didn't have to say comma at each pause period
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

Hey Bugs wuu yes you are going mad but you have me with you  I saw a bird in a tree once, also spotted a Lesser Spotted Naked Lady as well  sometimes after being on here I dream of Fiesta Red Fenders changing to Pink as Evolution speeds on and climate change gathers apace and we'll all have to move inland to Swords and enlist for Weird English Language courses run by an alien from some strange Planet
Do you know the way we can get tongue tied ? Well I occasionally suffer from "spell tied " it must happen to you all sometimes ! What I mean is, you spell a word, it looks wrong, even though you know you've spelled it correctly and the more you look at it the more weird the work looks, take " Language " for example, sounds like langwidge when most people say it, well how is it pronounced , Frenchlike ? Lan-gooo-àag don't stare at it too long  it's a weird word alright, and there's more !!!
See Bugs, we are not alone  by the way, you'll get a free trip to Mars if you keep mentioning that " Festive time " around here :P you'll be getting a Strumdinger

Overheard this morning, when it was chucking it down....

" Isn't the weather terrible?"
Ah, ye wouldn't put a milk bottle out in it! (If you had one).
