Give it to Rocker, she is stuck down in the Nire Valley in floods of torrential rain and may need a canoe to get out. idea1

We made it home. That was a scary day and night with the river rising and roads impassable. I have a great new found respect for people living in isolated parts of the country...the way they rallied around to help each other..people in remote areas were phoned to ensure they were O.K. People with tractors were clearing the roads of accumulated debris. People up to their knees in water were clearing drains and cutting out embankments to ease flooding. we have lost a lot of this kindness in the city.

Over in Galway last weekend and spotted the Glenageary Guru doing a nixer in Shop Street. He was clearly very high, at least two feet off the ground.

Anybody can do it. ;)

See the "grass" base, it's a solid platform. The stick is joined to it and then another joined to that running from the stick up his arm and down to a seat. Told you it was simple. ;)

Here's a little drawing...

Mmmmmmm ! He was in Cork on Paddy's weekend, except he was a Leprachaun !! Laughed myself sick when he was being quizzed by a very elderly very drunk Cork local, who was impossible to understand, threatening to " take the legs from under ya boyo " if he didn't reveal how he was " floating " in de air :D :D
