Thought for today..

Don't let what you can't do
stop you from doing
what you can do
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

" Who is the happier man? He who has braved the storm of life and cycled up the Noggin Hill, or he who has stayed on the Glenageary roundabout?"

Must get on to one of our provisional new councillors to get a seat halfway up the Noggin hill
and maybe a portable oxygen tent -anyone can gallop down
it's the getting back up is the problem -
Used to laugh years ago -some people used to walk back from the town up by york road and around by the golf links
golf links we always called it " the golf links" -but as the course was not on the edge of a beach -was it a golf links or golf course -?
I know it's gone now -but
others walked down Eden Rd. and up whats it's name road

-to get back to Sallynoggin

I use Glenagery Woods. Nicer walk without the traffic, noise and fumes. But the best way to get up there is to hit it head on. Anyway, no matter what or whichway you approach it, it's still the same Hill. :D

As one swallow does not a Summer make,
one seat does not a good Council make,
When walking up Noggin Hill,
lift up thine eyes to the Heavens
and thy burden shall be lifted.
