Further to your previous advice Strum, I still can't figure out how to post a photo. Notwithstanding my age and debility (ahem!) I still find the site very user unfriendly. Any advice appreciated.

This may sound a bit convoluted but it easy enough, less clicks than Facebuke. ;)

In your message. Click on Upload Attachment and then on Browse to find the file on your computer.

(Click on these screenshot images below to see the full image.)

Click on Add the file.

It's important to use the place inline function to separate photos if you are attaching many in the same message, or if you want to put text between them like I'm doing here.

I suggest to everybody to ALWAYS click on PREVIEW before submit to check that it's ok. If it's not, it's easy to edit the post.

I find that many of my photos are too big to upload but, I have a programme that allows me reduce the pixils, don't know what it is called but you all know better than I. :D :D

Just experimenting how to post a photo.

This photo was posted some time ago on the site. It is a class in the Dominican Convent from around 1934.

You right click on the pic, you should see a drop down menu and it will give you a list of options.
Choose "open with" and select whatever image viewer is listed on your puter. Mine is Windows image viewer
or something like that . Then the program will open up and you will see your selected image on the screen.
There will be a list of options available I.e crop, enhance colour etc . Choose RESIZE and do exactly that !
You can then save your changes but opt to keep the original pic as well . hope this helps hellllo

Any problems ......ask Strum

Test:

This image has been resized to 350 pixels by 230 just to give you an idea how it looks on screen.

No worries Toss, trial and error. 900 pixels width is a good guide to go by. ;)
